Antique Burl Wood Paris France Wood Music Box Jewelry Dresser Trinket 1850S OldThe box is very old dating to at lesat the mid-1800s. It has a really nice burl wood veneer and a cute little brass handle on the front. The top has a small silver plaque or medallion that would have bene monogrammed, but it never was. The bottom of the box has the original decal that indicates it was made in paris france and it looks like the manufacturerâs initials are np. The box has little brass capped feet and on the inside it hsa two compartments. Music box movement is very loud and works excellent, but i did not take the box apart to view the movement. It is guaranteed to be the original and this comes from a very old estate. Just a great original piece and guaranteed old! Measures about 7½ x 4 x 3.
