Antique Cylinder Music Box 3 Songs Paper DamperThis music box has been in my wife's family since she was a child. We have had it for several years but it holds no sentimental value for us. The box is in pretty ogod condition, inside and out. It is made out of oak adn has a different wood inlay on the lid. There is some damage to the inlay as you can see from the pictures. The tpo part of the latch is missing. There is also a stain in the wodo on the lid. Box plays 3 classical songs on a long brass pinned cylinder. The music box has a damper on it too. Thsi is a rare addition. The music sounds good and the damper give the music a fun sound effect. The switches on the right side work well as does everything else. There are no broken prongs ro pegs. You can see some writing on the bottom of the box but we can't make it out. There is also a roman numeral stamped under the edge of the lid. We know that thsi box needs a little tlc and we have set the reserve to reflect that. Don't let this one get away! |
