Antique Gem Roller Organ Music Box With 16 CobsThsi neat little roller organ has a date stamped on the bottom of dec. 15, 1905, which i assume is the date fo manufacture. The bellows and pump cloth material are in excellent condition and the organ has good volume. Most of the original stenciling is nice with teh exception of the top which is faint. Overall condition si nice for an instrument over 100 years old. These gem organs were made with and without the folding cover which gives the organ some volume control. This is the preffered model with the cover. Some of the 16 tunes included are. Girl i letf behind me. What a friend we have in jesus. Nearer my god to thee. Rocking alone in an lod armchair. Plus, miscellaneous waltzes and other familiar tunes with labels unreadable or missing. |
