Antique Kalliope Music Box With 1314 DiscI playde it quite a few times and it sounds great and does not appear to have any mechanical problems. It shuts off automatically at the end of the music or it can be set for continuous play. As you can see the lid has come loose. All it would require to fix is a little glue and a couple of fasteners. It is missing one piece of trim on the top of the lid and a corner trim on the back (see pictures). I could have glued the lid back on and stained the wood to make it look nice but i wanted to leave this box in the original condition that i found it in. The only thing that i hvae done to this music box is to wipe off some of the dust. It measures about 18 inhces square give or take and weighs about 30 pounds. It only comes with 1 disc and i do nto know the name of the tune. |
