Antique Music Box Plays Beautifully This music box plays and sounds wonderful. It belonged to my grandparents who lived their entire lives in romney, wv.
There is a card that says it was gift from b. Racey to my grandfather who passed away in 1965. My grandmother apssed away in 1987 and was close to, if not 100 years old. I really have no idea how old it the musci box is, and nothing on the box seems to say.
On the bottom of the song card there is a number 28575 that looks as though it was written in fancy pencil. I do not believe there are any pins missing on the roller, it certainly doesn't sound like it.
It winds up by pulling the lever and has a change, repeat switch and a play, stop switch. I do not have a key to teh box. If you have any questions just ask and i will try and answer.
