Antique Swiss Music Box Movement Awesome SoundThis came out of an old box that had a bras 'bill' name tag. Bottmo said paris, but most of the rest was rubbed off. It is ocmplete and makes a very rich clear sound but. To get it going, i added a few drops of wd 40. Based on little hand carved feet on box, and obvious hand assembly, i would say this is pre 1900. The cobm has some writing under it, but i couldn't decipher it. The spring is in perfect condition it seems, but it needs cleaning. |
