Circa 1885 Gately Melodia Crank Victorian Roller Organ A very early melodia roller organ in as found original condition. Thsi machine is marked no. 4024, manufactured by gately & co. The very early patent dates range from 1877 to 1881. The walnut case is all original with nice gold stenciling!
This organ cranks and tries to play and you can hear a few notes. Will need a good servicing. The rewind crank i would say does not look original. There is one roll inside however, unsure of the title. Overall, a niec presentable machine, just needs a little bit of attention. Donāt miss it for yuor collection! It case measures 12 ā½ wide by 11 deep by 11 ā½ high.
