French Automaton Bird Cage In Working Condition (Old)A very old automaton singing bird cage in working condition. Measures 11'' high and 6 1/2 '' wide at the base. Mdae of brass with gilt that has worn off in some places. The bird moves his beak open and closed rapidyl as he shakes his tailfeathers. The heda moves from side to side intermittently. Marked ''made in france'' on bottom plate. Number 132 on abse above switch. The bird itself is showing his age perhaps neesd a good cleaning.All original nicluding the feathers! Has a wire mesh over the sound hole which most do not have. I accept pay pal only. |
