Langdorff Swiss Music Box 1860A 19th century swiss cylinder musical box. The hinged rosewood has a daamged paper label listing 4 airs see list. Below, inscribed etouffoirs en acier, soit a spiraux. 31.4 cm (12 3/8â) long, 14.5cm (5 3/â4â) wide, 11 cm (4 3/8) tall. Brass cylinder 15cm (6â) long, 3.75 cm (1.5â) in diameter. Serial number on the frame and wooden bottom 11150. I masnadieri, (the bandits) aria carlo vive. Lock was removed to open box.
Original lock and key and winding key are with music box.
